The food was nice and varied, and that's about the only thing I liked. The rooms are dirty, the locks are broken, and there are bugs in them. Staff seemed bored and unenthusiastic. The furniture also feels dated compared with other hotels at similar prices. Don't stay here if comfort is what you're after.

It's a lovely green setting, but the cottages need more upkeep. My sheets were torn where they were tucked beneath the bed, and the blanket cover was ripped too. There wasn't an electric kettle in the room, and the food was basic. It felt like the place had been starved of funds.
Our school went there for an expedition. The room needs renovation: a light was broken, there was a tissue roll on the floor, and the tap water was brown. The tap itself was full of stuff that wouldn't come off with water. Bugs and ants bit me too. I don't know why it's called Diamond land when it felt clearly insect-infested. With such an outstanding location, there should be a hotel that lives up to the name.
I stayed there because it was the closest place to my triathlon event. The VIP room was reasonably priced, with a clean bed and bathroom. Some of the other older rooms may not work well. 😅
Lovely atmosphere and a delicious breakfast. There's also a bike rental stand.
