Catnip Seaside Hotel&Cafe

The employees were really nice, and the cats are calm and clearly loved. You can get treats for them, too. Such a good spot for some kitty therapy. I’ll definitely come back to see my new furry friends.

The cafe downstairs was a nice bonus, with good coffee and tasty breakfast choices. Catnip Seaside Hotel & Cafe in Kamala was a comfortable, charming place to stay. My room was clean, cozy, and well cared for, and the staff made me feel welcome. It’s only a short walk from the beach, while the hotel itself stays quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed my visit and would happily return to Phuket.

I wasn’t staying at the hotel, but I visited the cat place twice. As a volunteer at a cat shelter, I really love the idea and am grateful to the owner for helping cats this way. I’m sharing a few thoughts in a friendly spirit, just hoping they might be useful. One of the cats seemed to have a small eye problem. I wondered if the cold air conditioning might be a factor, so perhaps a slightly warmer temperature could make things more comfortable for them. I also felt sorry for a long-haired black-and-white cat who seemed a little afraid of the others. Even a small ginger cat was picking on him. I wanted to tell a staff member, but nobody was around then. Cat grass might be another nice thing to offer, since it’s good for digestion. It’s a lovely place with a wonderful idea behind it. I wish you all the best, and hope people support places like this more. ❤️🐾

A cozy, clean little place with friendly staff, and a fun relaxing stop if you like cats. There were eight sweet cats, each with their own personality. Cat food is just 20 THB, and the cats seem to enjoy it. Lovely cat café in Kamala Beach! 🐱☕✨
