Kamala Heights

The view is great from this villa at the top of a hill, but there isn't much nearby. The place was very dirty and seemed not to be maintained. Electricity costs extra, and the charge is very high. We also had trouble when a big rat ate our food. When it's windy, all the windows shake and rattle. I generally wouldn't recommend it.

The building, pool, and view are fantastic, and you can watch the sunset clearly. It's a great villa for a group, though being on a hill means you need to be careful on a motorcycle. A Thai lady, possibly the owner, lives in a first-floor room separated from the guest space by a locked door, and she takes good care of you. They can also arrange a motorcycle, massage, or car. Good service.

For our Thailand trip, this seven-bedroom villa with a pool made a great group stay, and Mr. Razzaq Bashir was a gracious host. I'd recommend it for group bookings and private pool parties.

We had a great time on our three-night bachelor trip and would book the villa again. It's well suited to parties and group trips, and the caretaker was very helpful, going beyond his duties to handle our requests. A mini mart, 7 eleven, FantaSea, and Kamala beach are about 10 minutes away; Patong Beach takes around 30 minutes, and the international airport about 45. Food delivery had a decent range of options and was fairly quick, around 30 minutes.
