Wyndham Garden Phuket Kamala

We’d happily return to Wyndham Garden Kamala. The beds were really comfortable, and the big pool was a great place to unwind. The restaurant had plenty of choice and served very good food, while the gym was well equipped for keeping up with workouts. It’s only a three-minute walk to the beach, and the free shuttle to the local market and nearby beach areas made getting around easy. We especially recommend a waterfall view room. Waking up to the sound of flowing water was so relaxing. A fantastic stay, and an easy five stars from us.

The staff kept greeting us with a smile and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Nok and Mai deserve a special thank you for keeping my room so clean. The hotel’s app was handy too, since I could use it to request room services and anything else I needed. Getting around would be easier if you rent a bike, especially if you want to explore nearby places. Aside from the location, everything was wonderful, and I’d definitely stay here again.

The biggest drawback is the steep hillside. Getting to and from the room can be a workout, even for my fairly young and active group, especially in Building 8. The swim-out rooms are there, but the view is disappointing because another building blocks much of the scenery. Still, it was good value, with friendly, helpful staff and a convenient shuttle to different parts of the island. Kamala Beach, restaurants, shops, and activities are nearby. Our room was roomy, cozy, and well-equipped, the TV had YouTube, Netflix, and other streaming options, and the beds were comfortable if you like a firmer mattress. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, and the hot water was reliably hot.

The pool was beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was new, very tidy, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. The staff were so polite, kind, and helpful, and the whole team gave the hotel a lovely, high-quality feel. The area was peaceful, and we usually walked to the beach. They also had a shuttle bus, which was fun to try. We had an amazing time, thanks so much for everything! 😊👌✨✨
