FIG Boutique Hotel

This place needs renovating. The bathroom is old and the sink is rusty. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your own bags up the stairs to the third floor.

It's an affordable resort hotel near local shops and a large BigC mall. The rooms are a good size, though some things are getting worn and need maintenance. Breakfast was good, with rice soup and other traditional Thai dishes, plus toast and coffee.

There's ample covered parking, and the staff were helpful despite the language barrier. The clean hotel has spacious rooms, hot water, and both a handheld shower head and a large rain shower. The mattress is firm and comfortable, though some people may find it too hard. The location is great, near a Robinson mall with a supermarket, food court, restaurants and Robinsons itself.

I reckon this is the best place in town, and I've stayed here countless times. It's tucked behind the Big C and a bit out of the way, but very quiet if that's what you want. The rooms have always been good, with comfy beds, working air conditioning, strong WiFi, and toilets and showers that work fine. It's clean and neat, and the staff are very nice. Breakfast isn't anything special, just the usual toast station, instant coffee and hot Thai dishes. I don't eat those first thing in the morning, but the Thai guests seemed to like them. The price is right too. The older place in town costs more than twice as much and is really very ordinary, so I choose this one whenever we come down to see family.
