Markland Beach View

The location made getting around easy, with the beach, restaurants, and markets all a short walk away. The pool was clean and pleasant, and the staff were polite and helpful. Check-in went smoothly. We found the rooms clean and well kept, with a lovely sea view from the balcony at sunrise and sunset. It was a calm, relaxing beachfront stay, and a good fit for our family. I'd happily return to Markland Beach Resort, Pattaya.

The view was spectacular, and the room was huge, with four single beds. There were plenty of useful things in it too, including a sink, extra cups, coffee and tea, a fridge, and a closet. The bathroom was nice and the heater worked really well. The sheets didn't look especially clean, but it was alright. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge at first. You go through an alley to the parking area and park on floor 5 or higher, then take a lift down to the counter for the keys, followed by another lift up to the room. Once you know the route, it's easy. The service was lovely too.

The outside and lobby are pretty ordinary, though inside it's nice and there's a good setup for enjoying the sea view. There's also a swimming pool.

The sea view is worth a million dollars, and it makes the worn room feel easier to overlook. This place should be packed during the November fireworks festival. I got sick after the first night, though I can't say whether the old air conditioner had anything to do with it. There was a slight sewer smell from the bathroom. No safe in the room, but you can leave valuables in the safety boxes at reception.
