L42 Hostel

We only needed a room for a few hours before our flight, so we could rest, shower, and pack at a great price. It was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities: air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, and hair dryer. The staff were friendly and very helpful, drove us to the airport for 150 baht, and helped with our luggage. The drive took about 15 minutes.

Handy for a longer layover. We could rest, shower, and even order food through Grab. The room was clean and spacious, with clean towels, water bottles, TV, and AC. Their airport shuttle for 150 bhat worked out cheaper for us than Grab.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were nice. One of them even carried my backpack up. I’d recommend this hotel if you need to stay near BKK airport. Their ride to the airport costs 150 baht, about the same as Grab. I took a star off for the bad stains on the fabric bed frame and sheets that weren’t very comfortable. It’s around a 10 minute walk to 711, restaurants, and other places, but there were lots of street dogs in the evening and that felt a bit scary. I wouldn’t walk there very late. For 1-2 nights when you need to be close to BKK, it’s a good cheap option.

We stayed two nights before heading home to Bonnie Scotland, and it was fantastic value at 550 baht a night. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Wi-Fi was free, places to eat were just a minute's walk away, and the airport was very close.
