We had the room with a plunge pool on the patio outside on the 19th floor, and the whole room was amazing. The bed, though, was probably the hardest I've ever slept on. Still, everything else earned the five stars: the front desk clerks were super nice and very helpful, and the bell hop was right there when we arrived and gave us a quick room tour. The hotel is literally steps from a BTS station, which is great. I think rooms start on level 6, so you can't hear the trains from up there unless you have a balcony, like we did.

Jasmine Station, the coffee shop, surprised us with a good lunch. We only expected quick, decent service, and it was both easy and reasonably priced, so I'd recommend it. There are plenty of tables and you can plug in a computer and work there. The atmosphere felt a little cold, with very simple decor and not much warmth, though that's a personal preference. The location is excellent too, about 50m from BtS Phrakhanong, in a fairly central part of Bangkok.

The staff were very friendly, and for the money I feel I got my worth. It's less expensive than many other five Star hotels nearby. The lobby and pool were beautiful, the view was nice, and the television worked well. On the downside, there was a lot of glass in the bathroom and it needed a better cleaning. The English breakfast I had in the morning was one of the worst I've ever eaten.

Our stay at the Jasmine Resort was okay. The rooms were clean, though a bit dated, and breakfast was nice. Children under 12 can eat free. The odd thing was being charged a fee to store our luggage for more than a day.

The bell boy, a young Indian guy, was really friendly and knew how to look after a guest. Bravo to him. Breakfast, though, was a terrible experience. A guy, not sure if he was a manager, took the plate and cutlery from our table without asking. My nephew was still eating and still had food on his plate, but the guy grabbed it anyway. When we said we were still using the cutlery, he said we had new ones. What the hack! So rude. I'd give him zero stars, or minus 1000 if that were an option.
