Baan Rim Kwai Paerimnam Resort

We had a peaceful stay surrounded by lovely scenery, with views of the Death Railway, River Kwai, and nature all around. The rooms are spacious, and there’s plenty of parking. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms feel dated, though: the sliding window-style locks are old, the amenities need updating, and the toilets don’t meet modern standards. It’s a nice place for the setting, but the rooms could use renovation.

We came as a group of 50 and had a great time. The staff gave us very good service, and both the food and breakfast were yummy. River rafting and the light and sound show were a lot of fun. We checked out yesterday morning after breakfast, following our one-night stay.

We spent two nights on a floating river raft, looking out over the Death Railway and the scenic River Kwai Noi. It’s a lovely resort in one of the area’s best locations. We’d definitely return.

Rafting was the best part of our visit, it was so much fun. Our own room, House 12, Room 2, felt old and eerie, with a heavy atmosphere that made us uncomfortable, so we ended up sleeping in our friends’ riverside room instead. Theirs was newer, brighter, and much more pleasant. I’d suggest booking one of the newer rooms for a better stay.
