There's a great food market right outside, and the location is convenient. The price, though, felt far too high for the stay. My room was tiny, with nowhere to put clothes, and we were constantly in each other's way. It was old and looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly. The shaver socket didn't work, so I couldn't use my electric toothbrush. Thin walls meant hearing neighbours above, below, and on both sides, and sleep was hard to come by. Reception staff were seldom at the desk, usually in the room behind eating or on their phones. A disappointing stay for the money. I wouldn't recommend it when there are better and cheaper places around.

The room smelled really bad, and the staff weren't helpful when we asked for a late checkout. We were charged for the pool table, then told afterward that it didn't work. The hotel is nowhere near the beach, despite the advertising, it's about a 15-minute walk. Much too expensive for what you get.

Good location and friendly staff, but the room was really small for the price. The place seemed dirty throughout, with mold on the shower walls and dust clumps in the hallway. Not worth the room rate.

We got what we expected from a basic hotel, and the location was good for the price. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work. They even left a surprise for my partner's birthday ❤️, which we hadn't expected.

NAM at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful, and really went the extra mile to make sure things went well. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with the beach, local shops, and restaurants a short walk away. I found it good value and suitable for a short or longer stay. I had a great time at ibis Kata Phuket and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kata. I hope to stay again. Thanks, Nam and the ibis team!
