The building was well maintained, with covered parking, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. We also had a truly beautiful sunset view from our sea-view unit at Sunset Plaza. But very loud music played right below our windows from 6 pm to midnight, and we were really upset by it. The balcony doors barely block any sound, so it felt like the music we hadn’t chosen was playing inside the apartment. If you want quiet evenings, a peaceful sunset, and a good night’s sleep, I’d pick somewhere else.

Kem made our week at the Sunset Palza Condominiuma much more comfortable. She was incredibly kind and supportive, always checking that we had what we needed and giving us reassurance. She went out of her way to help us, even taking us places when we needed it. Highly recommend!

Quiet and fully equipped, this place seems suitable for people of any age. There are two swimming pools, one for the view and one for the room. The staff provide excellent service, and the rooms are clean with all the amenities. I think it’s worth the price and works well for a longer vacation.

The main catch is the steep hill up to the condo. TukTuks and 12-seater vans can’t make it up. We had an MPV with high-profile tires and managed, but only just. Without your own car, expect to walk down for sightseeing and climb back up. It’s a workout, though good for the heart! Grab deliveries have a collection point in the lobby, and delivery bikes handle the slope easily. Parking is tight, around 12 spaces, but there’s even an EV charging station for one lot. We were a family of six, with children aged 2, 8, 10, and 11, and the place suited us perfectly. I booked just one day before arriving in Phuket. We chose Karon for its family-friendly feel over busy Patong. Sunset Plaza offered a 3-bedroom unit with a captivating sunset sea view or a 2-bedroom unit overlooking the pool. Since we expected to be out most of the time, I went with the more affordable 2-bedroom option. The management team was excellent and helped with our luggage when we arrived. The condo isn’t brand new, but the upkeep is impressive. There are two pools, one between Tower A and Tower B, which Tower B units face, and an “infinity” pool below Tower A facing the sea, where you can catch a stunning sunset. The unit was spotlessly clean. We felt like we had to return the favor, and the photos I shared show how we left it before checkout. I have no regrets choosing Sunset Plaza and highly recommend it.
