There's a big food market right outside, running from afternoon into late evening, with a few stalls open nearly around the clock. Nearby you'll also find shops such as 7/11 and mini big C. With a motorbike rental, Phuket, Patong, and Old Town are all a short ride away. The location worked well for me. It's a budget hotel, so the rooms have a number of small problems, like broken lights and leaking sinks, though nothing major. You can ask to have the room cleaned. You get what you pay for.

The room was spacious with a nice view, and the front desk was good. The shower and toilet were fine, and the price was lower than elsewhere. But the bed was much too hard, and the air conditioner smelled moldy.

The hotel service wasn't great. Nobody explained the Wi-Fi, room service never showed up, and there was no English. The location was handy, though, with a 7-Eleven and laundry close by and the center just a few minutes away by bike.

I booked for one day and they made me check out that same day. Can you believe it? I'd stayed there before without this problem. The staff were disorganized, and the place was disgusting.
