We checked in on January 24, 2026. The room, bed, mattress, and pillows were all good, but the bathroom was awful. The toilet wouldn't drain when flushed, and there was a bad smell. We asked the owner to get it fixed, and the person responsible was contacted three times, but it still wasn't sorted out. The price was very high overall, yet the service was terrible. When we spoke to the woman who seemed to be the owner's wife, we were treated as though we were staying for free. She said we could leave and get a refund if we weren't happy. We got no help at all, not even assistance finding somewhere else or a recommendation for new accommodation. There was no service, no service mindset. Anyone planning a relaxing vacation shouldn't have to deal with this. Think about whether this rating matches the earlier reviews.

We'd traveled seven hours from Bangkok for a concert in Khao Kho and a relaxing stay, but the trip turned into a nightmare. At check-in we found the bathroom unusable. We called staff twice, then the owner came to try to fix it herself, but the problem remained. The female owner then said she'd refund us and told us to find somewhere else. In peak season there were no rooms available. We were just kicked out, with no apology or responsibility toward customers. I don't know why they had no spare room for a situation like this. When we tried to explain the issue, she looked uncomfortable hearing complaints. Her manner felt unprofessional. I wanted to say, "Are you ready to serve customers? If not, don't run a resort. Find a different job. This isn't professional at all." The food we ordered was terrible too. I thought it would at least be edible, but I only tasted it before throwing the rest away. I regret spending the money and can't stand that kind of service or food. Others can go if they want, but I won't be back. There are plenty of other places, good resorts and hotels to visit, but this one makes Khao Kho look bad.
