If you want a livelier area, you'd be better off near Central mall or the train station in the newer part of town. This old part, with government buildings, is really quiet, with little around. There are a few food stalls and a 7-11 about five minutes around the corner. The bed was super comfortable, the WIFI very good, and the price was a plus. The hotel was renovated a few years ago to look more modern, but it still feels a little worn. I'd walk in instead of booking on a booking site, as you'll save a lot.

Maybe I'm a difficult person, but I'd like to talk to the almost 1000 people who gave this "Hotel" such a high score. The building is really old and smells very bad, and I didn't sleep well. I had a bad feeling about the place and am sure it'll break down by itself in a few years. Mostly locals seem to visit, and I've got nothing against that.

The lobby looks nice, and the staff are friendly. The rooms, though, are really old and need serious cleaning, especially the bathroom. It was okay at a cheap price, but nothing great.

I booked online for about 700 or something. The staff were great, and I liked the room, especially the bed. The air conditioning was loud, but it drowned out the other sounds you usually hear in a hotel. There are places to eat all over the area and a 7-Eleven within a block, so I liked the location. I was on a bicycle trip, and without me asking, they offered a spot in the lobby to keep my bike out of the way. I'd stay again.
