Exotic Bungalows

The room had decent AC and a fridge, and the location was good, but it was dark and smelled odd. The pool was clean, though I didn't feel comfortable going in. The owners gave the place a strange atmosphere. It seemed like a large Russian family ran it and lived there, but they didn't do much to welcome guests. Most of the time they sat in the dark, odd lobby. The local groundskeepers were actually much friendlier. I wouldn't recommend staying here when there are nicer places for the same price.

On the third morning, there was no electricity in my room. At first I thought it was a power cut, but the neighbors still had power. I went out for a few hours and came back to the same problem. The owner apologized, refunded my last night, and I checked in across the road. I'm guessing they hadn't paid the electricity bill. I appreciated that she was honest and helped me find the other place, though it was an inconvenience. When I first arrived, the bar and restaurant were shut, so I had to find a staff member to check in. The room was OK, with a comfortable bed and hot shower, though the AC wasn't great. The pool area was basic, laundry was drying around it, and the pool needed cleaning.

We chose not to stay beyond the first night, but they refused to refund us. We kept the key, yet somehow they rented the same room to other customers using another key, even though we'd paid for it. There are plenty of better places nearby. The price we paid wasn't worth it.

The location was OK, but everything outside was filthy and the pool was a joke, not somewhere you could swim. Staff? I never saw anyone.
