Ao Salat View Koh Kood

The resort's food is tasty and very affordable. It's a local, basic place, with simple rooms that do the job and good service. It's near Ao Salad Pier, which is convenient if you want to stay close to the pier or somewhere quiet. A motorbike makes it easy to get to the island's hotspots, though they're a 20-30 minutes drive away. One thing to know: you only get 1 towel per room, and it's pretty old. The towels should be changed as soon as possible.

We wanted somewhere restful and ended up staying two marvelous weeks. The area is really quiet, and we spent a lot of time on the balcony reading and enjoying the sea view and jungle in front of us. The rooms were clean, and there was a mini fridge for our food. You'll definitely need a scooter, which you can rent at the resort. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and cheap. The woman who owns the place was very kind and helpful. We couldn't have picked a better place to rest. Thank you!

A quiet place to relax in Koh Kood, with a nice view from the swimming pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is affordable. The restaurant food is good and well priced, and the owner is very nice and polite. The place is well maintained. It's in a quiet area by the mangrove, but if you can ride a scooter, getting around the island and visiting beaches is easy. Scooters are available to rent. I recommend staying here and would come back.

The best part of our stay was the service. The hostess, whose name I'm sorry I never got, and the other staff were caring, helpful, attentive, and simply brilliant. On our last day, our onward ride forgot to pick us up, so she drove us in her truck to the jetty and got us there in time for the ferry. We'd happily stay here again. The bungalows were clean and had everything we needed. We spent the evenings on the balcony enjoying the peace. We knew it was a bit far away when we booked, but didn't appreciate it until we had to ride half an hour back in a tropical downpour. The hostess is wonderful, and bike hire is very easy, though the distance is still worth considering. The restaurant has a good selection for breakfast and dinner, with nice quality and portions, especially considering it was some of the cheapest food we had on the island.
