The beachside setting and the good-sized pool are the main things this place has going for it. For the budget price, some fixes should be straightforward, but previous reviews seem to have raised similar issues without changes. I saw a cleaner in the bathrooms every day, yet the same grime, including shaving hairs, stayed around the sink for several nights. Sand is expected so close to the beach, but cleaning the surfaces is basic. This was one of the dirtiest hostels I’ve stayed in. The room also lacked hooks and a shelf for small things, and the beds had no curtains, so privacy was poor. My bed was by the window with a light on outside all night, though my eye mask helped. It was quiet because everyone in our room went to sleep early, and it didn’t feel very social. There was a sign saying setting the AC below 23°C would “cause damage to the unit,” which seemed bizarre and like a way to save money. I also had to pay a 1’000 Baht deposit per person, perhaps for keycards, which I’ve never had to do at another hostel. A disappointing stay.

There’s a lovely atmosphere and it’s easy to meet people. For this price, having a wonderful pool and direct access to the sea feels amazing. The bed is comfortable and has a curtain, power socket, and light. Nearby you can find everything you need, including scooters, good food, and drinks. A few things could be better: there’s nowhere to keep your things beside the bed, especially awkward on the top bunk. Our room was much too bright because the window had no curtain, and the bed curtains don’t cover everything, so privacy is limited. There’s no self-service kitchen.

I really liked the atmosphere, and the beach is close by. There’s a pizza place in the same area that makes amazing pizza. The hostel has handy amenities too, including a hairdryer in the bathroom. I’m sure I’ll stay here again.

This is easily the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Thailand. The whole place feels new and is spotless, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are amazing. It’s got a great social atmosphere for meeting people, while still being easy to get a good night’s sleep. The price is crazy good for a pool overlooking the ocean, and the hostel is right on Klong Nin Beach, with the sand just outside the door.

A peaceful, beautiful resort where I could really relax and enjoy nature. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were consistently kind and smiling. I loved being so close to the beach, especially with that amazing sunset view.
