Hello Me Me Bungalow

After a long trip, arriving to find there was no room for us was stressful and unacceptable. We had booked well in advance through Agoda and had a confirmed reservation, but at check-in the hotel said nothing was available. They hadn't warned us beforehand or offered a solution, so we had to urgently find another hotel on arrival. Booking ahead is pointless if this kind of mismanagement can leave you without a room in Koh Lanta. Don't book here if you don't want to take that risk.

The room had no sink, which wasn't very handy, but for the price and location I'd still highly recommend the place. The owners were really nice and helpful, and we enjoyed our five-night stay. The beach is just a two-minute walk away, which is a big plus.

The woman who runs the place is super nice, and can arrange travel or rent you a motorbike. Rooms are spacious, basic and affordable, with everything you need. It's a few minutes from the beach, and an easy base for riding around other parts of the island.

We liked it so much that we cancelled another booking and stayed an extra night. The bungalows are great, and the owners are lovely and accommodating. They can help you find things, arrange activities or taxis, and provide other services. Renting a scooter from them was especially convenient, and their reasonably priced laundry service meant we could spend more time at the beach, about 100 ft away. It's also just two minutes from our favorite place for food and massages, funky fish. For my money, hello Me Me house is the best bang for your baht on Koh Lanta.
