The waterfront location was lovely and convenient for getting into town. The ocean is just in front, with bars and restaurants along the shore. But the staff's service and attitude were disappointing throughout, and it really affected our holiday. Even when we greeted them in the morning, we often got no response. Maybe they were hot or tired, didn't feel like it, or there were only a few people working that day. Whatever the reason, it wore us down. I was also shocked by the amount of rubbish in the large courtyard. It made me feel sick. I really can't recommend this place to many tourists.

I stayed in the hostel and had a good, clean room right on the Beach. Most people kept to themselves, and at that price I had no complaints.

It’s close to the beach, but the room doors don’t shut, so thousands of mosquitoes get in. The beds were hard as rocks and really uncomfortable. Showering left the whole bathroom, toilet included, soaking wet. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known this was a Hostel rather than a hotel. Worst hotel experience so far.

I saw rooms still advertised on several sites, so I went in person to ask. Glad I did, because they told me the place was full, and I only checked the very bad recent reviews afterward.
