The team went out of their way to make our time on Lanta nice, even after a booking system problem meant our direct reservation wasn’t showing. They quickly arranged somewhere else for us, and we were able to stay for our last night. The staff were exceptional, and the service and food were among the best we had on our holiday. The rooms are spacious, clean and lovely, with great bathrooms and air conditioning that works really well. The pool area was too noisy and chaotic for us as a couple who like quiet. There were lots of young kids, so we spent our time at the beach with earphones in. This place is a great fit for families, especially if you have young children, or don’t mind the noise. If that’s not for you, you may want to look elsewhere. For clean, roomy accommodation, a good location, food and service, it’s perfect if the kids don’t bother you.

Our two-bedroom connecting room was right on the beach, with a beautiful sea view and a fabulous deck. The hotel felt spotless, with a great pool, and it was ideal for a family. We were travelling with our 10-month-old daughter, and the staff were wonderful with her. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well looked after. They also made really good coffee. It was the best place we stayed on Lanta, and we can’t thank Sea House enough for such a memorable four nights at the end of October. ❤️

The building is a bit dated, though renovations are underway, and the price feels fair for what you get. If you book in the main building, remember there’s no elevator. We found the reception staff friendly and available, but the breakfast staff seemed a little unfriendly. One good thing on the restaurant menu was steamed vegetables with fish or meat. The hotel sits in a beautiful central spot on a beach with sunsets. It also seems to be a popular choice for Swedes, who appeared to make up most of the guests.

Right by the seafront, Lanta Sea House is good value for money. The pool is pleasant and clean, with sun loungers. The rooms are fine, neat and clean, though not the newest. The beds are large and comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff here are fantastic, and the restaurant food was really good and reasonably priced. We ate there several times, and there are lots of other restaurants and bars nearby too. Our room was on the second floor of the main building. It was comfortable, with a firm bed and a shower that stayed properly hot. Just be prepared for a lot of families. The pool and main area had more than a dozen kids splashing, screaming and giggling all day, every day. We were told the property is always full of families. The noise level was a lot, even though it’s outside the hotel’s control. If you don’t enjoy being around families having a good time, this probably isn’t the place for you.
