There’s lots of room to relax here, with sunbeds on the gorgeous beach and plenty more in the shade under the trees. We also enjoyed the resort’s restaurant and coffee area, and the separate bar was a lovely place for a beer or cocktail at sunset. All the staff were friendly. Our traditional Thai-style villa had a spacious balcony and separate bathroom, plus a small fridge, safe, tea and coffee, hairdryer, and complimentary water replaced daily. The bathroom had everything we needed. This was our first trip to Koh Lanta, and we’re so glad we stayed here. I’d book it again.

We booked a beachfront villa with a spa bath at Long Beach Chalet – SHA Extra Plus. It was on the expensive side for Thailand, but the location, atmosphere, and memories made it worth the cost. The villa felt spacious and airy, with lovely design. Room service came quickly, and housekeeping cleaned it every day while we were at breakfast. The varied breakfast was good, and the beach was beautiful and well maintained. There weren’t many sun loungers by the main pool, which was a small downside. We had a late return flight and asked about checking out later. The only option was a garden room, but it turned out to be a lovely little oasis with its own separate pool, which we really enjoyed. We chose Long beach chalet for our wedding and three-night stay, and our group of 13 had an amazing time. Everyone had only good things to say. Tum, Fon, Brian, and the whole team made our day feel special, with thoughtful personal service and smooth organisation from start to finish. The intimate ceremony was lovely, the decorations were beautiful, and the evening dinner setting was just wow. Apple and Da did an amazing job decorating our room, which looked incredible. The resort is clean and picturesque, and breakfast was delicious with very friendly staff. Monny stood out during our stay and wedding evening at the Escale Cafe, always smiling and so warm. Nothing was too much trouble, from the wedding arrangements to booking bikes and airport transfers in advance. It felt like a dream, and we can’t wait to visit again.

We spent our days in the water from sunrise to sunset. The beach here has amazing sunset views, and the water was clear; I never felt unsafe. A few days we saw sea lice, and there were small purple jellyfish once and, just one time, a huge jellyfish washed ashore. We also spotted fish swimming past, a huge swarm of little fish, and plenty of birds. The garden, private beach, and sunbeds are all nicely laid out and peaceful, and the wifi stayed strong even in the garden. Housekeeping surprised us every day with new towel animals, they’re real artists. Our second-row seaview apartment was lovely, with a nice view in a calm, quiet area. The hotel also has a coffee bar, restaurant, and massage pavilion, and all were great. They picked us up for free from ko lanta saladan pier. The return taxi they booked cost 100 bhat per person. Service was great whenever we needed it, laundry was done quickly within 24 hours, and breakfast was plentiful, with lots of egg options, fruit, and more. We’d definitely book again!
