The penthouse villa was nice for the price, though a bit dated and not especially clean. The beach is rocky, so you have to keep walking for a while. There was no soap or extra toilet paper. I had an unpleasant time dealing with one receptionist and wouldn't expect to get problems resolved easily here. I went to reception twice, waiting over 30 minutes each time, just to get an extra bed sheet because the villa didn't have enough. One of the other receptionists was fine, and they did give us trip advice, but the service should be better.

The two-bedroom suite gave my daughter and me much-needed space after weeks of sharing a room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a big living area and balcony. The pool was a highlight too, open 24 hours, well maintained and lovely for a quiet swim under the stars. Staff, especially the women at reception and in the restaurant, were genuinely warm and helpful. The card charge added 5%, which hadn't been clearly explained beforehand, so the final bill was higher than expected. The bathroom didn't feel as nice as the rest of the suite, the shower seemed tired, and the toiletries came in tiny handwritten bottles that didn't inspire confidence. The pool-facing layout could be less relaxing if a guest were noisy, though that wasn't a problem during our stay. We had a really enjoyable time, and I'd happily return.

We came back for a second stay because the apartment was just right for us. The beds were comfortable, the TV, WiFi and air conditioning all worked well, and the outdoor space was lovely. The pool is great, and it's a five-minute walk to the beach and lots of nice restaurants. The place is a little tired, and the showers need adjusting because water goes everywhere.

The pool is huge and open all day and night, and the staff are lovely and helpful. When I lost my phone in a taxi, the security guards helped save the day. The front desk can arrange taxis and tours, and there's a rocky beach close by. We had a full kitchen, though there was a lingering smell we couldn't work out, plus great views. The penthouse was spacious with a lovely patio, but the rooms need updating and the place is older and worn, so don't expect luxury. It might suit a longer stay better than a vacation splurge. Be aware that you pay for your electricity and water use, with a charge or deposit.
