We spent four nights at Islanda Resort Hotel, which is quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view and a good location. Breakfast was tasty and had something for everyone. Noi at reception was especially lovely, always smiling, kind, and helpful, and the rest of the staff were very friendly too. They even gave us a free taxi to the pier at the end. We highly recommend it.

The resort is beautiful and the service was fantastic. The rooms were nice, though I did notice they could be cleaner, and there were some mosquitoes in the shower. It’s in a great location, and I’d come back.

I really enjoyed the suite’s shower, where you can look out at the sea in privacy, and the views from both balconies. The infinity pool was great, too. The view at Islanda Resort is beautiful. For what I paid, I expected the resort to feel a bit newer and more luxurious compared with other nice hotels in Bangkok or Koh Chang. I liked the small breakfast buffet, and appreciated being asked how I wanted my eggs and which meat, such as ham or sausage. The beaches shown in the pool photos aren’t accessible, and the beaches are a 10-15 minute walk away.

It was nice to be picked up and dropped off at the pier. The place is quiet, clean, and close to most things, with scooter rentals available right there. You can also walk to a few decent restaurants and a bar.
