Ta-Lay Time Koh Mak

i'm sorry i can't give a better review. the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the spot on the small peninsula is really nice and quiet. the place is well maintained, the restaurant food was delicious, and the sunset was perfect. but it was quite expensive and didn't meet my expectations. the bungalows are nice, just small. the mattress was much too hard and the pillows too thick. there was no daily room cleaning, so we had a lot of sand inside. breakfast was one dish à la carte, not a buffet, and the free coffee wasn't drinkable. swimming here isn't great either. we paid around 80 usd per room, a bit under 3000 baht. even for Koh Mak, i expected more comfort for that price.

We'll be back next year. The staff were exceptionally polite and professional, and the woman at reception patiently took care of every detail for us throughout the holiday.

Our air-conditioned bungalow was spotless and just a few steps from the sea. I woke to a breathtaking sunrise on this peaceful little island. The stay felt authentic, with a Thai family owning the whole cape and the restaurant on the hill. They care for the land meticulously, keeping it spotless and turning it into a lush, beautifully landscaped garden. It was everything I could have hoped for.

The staff are friendly and nice. For the prettiest sunset view from the restaurant, come around 5 pm to get a good seat.
