Ibiza House

The hotel does have some good points: a pool, the beach, and the city center. But I couldn’t sleep at night, the shower was a bit dirty, and the checkout experience was awful. I woke up at 8 and booked another hostel, then spoke to a staff member around 10am. She told me checkout could be between 11am and 14pm, so I believed her and went to enjoy the city. When I came back around 13h45, a different staff member, a woman who looked like a man, and another man were apparently frustrated and both shouted at me over the timing. I was their client, and that wasn’t reasonable. I understand they may have been busy, but there was no reason to treat me like a dog or shout at me. I don’t recommend this hostel if you have any self-respect. I enjoyed my time at another hostel, the tropical garden bungalow, where the elderly tenant was really kind and understanding. He understood the situation completely, because apparently people have complained about Ibiza house at Phi Phi before. No doubt about that.

We had a two-bed shared room that was comfortable for three people. It was cleaned daily and came with fresh towels, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere seemed nice for couples or solo travelers, though in my opinion it isn’t for families. Pool parties run only on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. We were in the back of the hostel and heard no noise, but the front rooms will hear the music.

At Ibiza House Phi Phi Island, someone took my drink, and when I reported it the staff were no help. Miss king, the main bar manager, didn’t respond and was rude. I felt there was no respect for Indian tourists and that they were racist toward Indian tourists. They showed no concern for customer safety and made no effort to deal with what happened. For somewhere that promotes partying and fun, basic security and responsibility are missing. I wouldn’t recommend it if you care about your belongings or having a safe night out.

I stayed at Ibiza House, Phi Phi recently and had a great time. The place itself is good, but the pool party was the real highlight: awesome music, great energy, and a fun crowd. If you want somewhere to relax a little and then go all in on partying, this is a solid choice. I’d gladly visit again.
