Good value for the price. The owner and Anna on staff are very sweet, and there are free snacks, Coffe and tea available all the time. The room was clean and comfortable. Bring earplugs until 1am, when the reggae bar closes. I’d definitely recommend it for a few nights.

The woman running the hostel was so friendly and sweet. I enjoyed staying there enough to return a few days later. It was clean, central, and still quiet enough, with free drinking water, cup noodles, coffee, and sweets.

Ana was amazing, I’m really going to miss her! The room was comfortable, the shower was good, and everything was very clean. They also had free coffee and treats, which made Lucky Dorm a lovely budget choice. Just a heads-up, it’s right beside the reggae bar, so you can hear loud music, though it didn’t bother us in the dorms.

The reception ladies were working so hard, but still met us with gentle words and smiles. They really try to look after you and are there when you need anything. Kindness makes a difference, and I’d come back to Phi Phi. You’re awesome, thank you for everything. Lots of love, Melina, Greece 💖🌸

I stayed for 15 nights, and the location right in town was perfect. The free cake, tea, and noodle soup were nice, and the curtains gave a good amount of privacy. Staff were kind and took security seriously, with cameras, small lockers, someone always around, and the door locked in the evening. The bathrooms never had any stray hairs, though the water would randomly be off for 30 minutes a day. The beds and dorms were quiet, and the sign says quiet after 11pm, which they enforce. You mainly hear the boxing DJ when the front door slides open. It seemed to attract more respectful guests over 30, so people generally whispered, apart from a Brazilian couple last week and an Indian guy taking loud phone calls in Hindi at 11pm. I told him about the hostel culture. A couple of things woke me up: the bright lights in the three toilets, and the wooden doors that make noise when they close properly. The doors also don’t reach the floor, so you can hear people using the toilet. :(
