Novotel Koh Si Chang

The infinity pool is so inviting, so bring your swimsuit. I loved how quiet and private the place felt, and breakfast was nicely done without being overwhelming. The Eggs Benedict was a lovely standout. The room had a calming design and all the basics you need, so you can just bring your clothes. Best of all, waking up to the open sea was beautiful. We were lucky there were no big ships docked during our stay, so nothing blocked the view.

I came back to NOVOTEL Koh Sichang for a second stay in 2025, and it was just as good as my first. The staff were warm and helpful, with useful suggestions for local sights. They even explained how people ride motorbikes on the island so I could take care on the roads. The hotel is small and feels private, tucked away on the north side where it’s peaceful and away from crowds. For getting there, the hotel’s shuttle speed boat is the easiest option, at 600 THB for a round trip. You can leave your car at Novotel Marina Sriracha and board at the hotel pier. Or take a public boat from Koh Loi if you’re coming early for a day trip. I usually rent a motorbike from the hotel for 500 THB a day, gasoline included, which works well for seeing the island. They also arrange day trips with a driver if you don’t want to ride. Thanks to the team for such an enjoyable stay. I’m happy to return in 2026, and I recommend NOVOTEL Koh Sichang for a relaxing getaway and great service.

We rented the two-bedroom villa by the water and had dinner beside our private pool. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were on a trip to sriratcha and paired this stay with Novotel Sriratcha. My daughter has several food allergies, which we had told novotel sriratcha about. We then saw a chef, the head chef, take the boat over to koh si chang with us. After that, all the food and beverage staff seemed to know about her allergies. I’m very grateful to the staff at both novotel hotels for paying such close attention.

The pool is lovely, though a bit cold. My room was set to 17C at check-in, and I wondered if some of the energy used to cool the room could be put toward warming the pool. The rooms are nicely designed and well equipped, but the salty air has left some fixtures rusty, and cleanliness could be better. I chose Los Si Chang for a quiet break away from the crowds. There aren’t too many people, and there are enough places to visit, with beautiful beaches and viewpoints. It’s a nice spot for a night or two of rest. The service was very nice, and the price felt fair. One thing to know is that there’s a lot of oil drilling around. You can see oil boats and pumps at sea during the hour-long ferry trip to the port. They might be visible from the hotel too, though I didn’t see them during my stay. I hadn’t noticed in the hotel description that there was no sandy beach. Access to the water is over rocks or a pier deck, which seemed set up more for fishermen than guests wanting to get into the sea. The facilities are generally okay, but they could use a coat of paint and more cleaning. For a 4* place, staff, though very nice, were often on their phones at reception or by the entrance. They could also pick up litter in the gardens and sort out some cleaning issues.
