Koyao Bay Pavilions

The restaurant was so delicious that we ended up having dinner there several times, even though we’d only planned to eat there once. Breakfast was great too, and the women working there were so sweet. Ryan was also great at setting up whatever we needed. The hotel and restaurant staff were all amazing. We had an amazing stay at Koyao Bay in the Beach Suite Pavilions. The pool and beach were right there, and we loved the rooms, though they’re open air, so it can get warm and bugs can come in. It’s all part of the fun. I hope we can return one day, and I highly recommend Koyao Bay. One thing to know is that construction was happening next door. We were in #3, right beside it, and could hear some work and talking. The owner did a really good job of keeping the noise down, and it didn’t bother us.

The owners are lovely, and the manager Ryan was the standout. He helped us with everything, from finding local scooters to suggesting places to visit. Staff were super friendly, and the food was so good that we barely ate anywhere else. My partner and I spent a great week here. There was apparently some building work at the nearby resort, unusual for high season, but we didn’t hear anything. We asked to extend for another week, but they were fully booked 😭.

We stayed in villa Yanat, which was very comfortable for a couple or a family. It has a large private pool that’s lovely for a swim under the stars. The villas are beautiful, and waking up in the middle of paradise was a treat. Koh Yao Bay Pavilions is a quiet place to get away from big tourist crowds. The staff are incredibly kind and make everything easy, and the food is fresh and delicious, especially the seafood. A great option for a calm island stay with privacy and good service. P.S. We were lucky to have a beautiful beach with stunning views of several small islands almost to ourselves, and the kids loved watching hornbills fly around. We were a family of four and spent six nights at Villa Ingfah, enjoying every minute. The private pool was a dream. Koyao Bay Pavillions is a hidden gem, with just a few beautifully designed villas and bungalows set in tropical surroundings. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was among the best we had. We highly recommend it if you’re after a small luxury retreat in nature.
