The pool area was the highlight, with trees around it. A ramp led into the water on one side, so wheelchair access was possible, and the depth started at 0.5m. The staff were friendly, though the older receptionist lady had a strange attitude. Staff also didn’t seem to care when people made noise by the pool past midnight. Even in this quiet area, thin walls meant noise from other guests could be a problem. At night, staff were talking or watching videos, so I’d avoid a room next to reception. Cleanliness was superficial but okay, and the fridge needed cleaning. Water pressure was very strong, while the air conditioning was weak. The beds were horrible and, with all the noise, sleeping was difficult.

For a budget room to sleep in, this was all I needed, and I thought it was good value for money. I stayed for Wonderfruit festival. The location is between two roads, but it was pretty quiet. The staff were super lovely and attentive. The room wasn’t especially clean, and the hallway was worse.

The staff were unfriendly. Check-in was at 2 PM, but we didn’t get the key until 1:50 PM. Then, with checkout at 12 PM, they called at 11 AM the next morning to say it was time to check in. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away.

The rooms are very dirty, with black corners in the toilet and walls that look like they’ve never been washed. The walls and furniture are worn out, and the air conditioning didn’t smell good. No refund, naturally.
