Blue Andaman Lanta Resort

We politely mentioned to the manager that the coffee we ordered at Blue Restaurant tasted like water. We weren't asking for anything, just sharing our opinion, but she became angry and aggressive. Her response felt very disrespectful.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times in different types of accommodation. The air-conditioned rooms and large family rooms were good, and we hired bikes and arranged transfers without any problems. The bamboo bungalows are very rustic, which we loved, and I especially liked the toad. Most evenings the sunset comes with chilled house music, though one night there was strange karaoke at the Sound Shack next door.

The beach is lovely, but my three-night stay began with construction noise right below my room early in the morning. Nobody warned me at check-in, although other rooms were available. When I asked about a refund, I was told I should have notified them the day before construction began, which would have required knowing about it in advance. The alternative they offered was a more expensive room, even though I later saw that room listed online for less. Communication and resolving the issue both need improvement. I'd wait until the work is finished unless loud power tools with morning coffee sound appealing.

The photos were misleading, and the room was a disaster. The shower tray was right beside the toilet, which was disgusting, and there was no mirror for shaving. The decor was in very poor taste. I asked to move rooms but got excuses instead. I wouldn't recommend it.
