Sita Beach Resort Koh Lipe

We were so pleased with the service during our first stay on Lipe island, which lasted 8 nights. The staff were lovely, and the room was clean. We got a nice car pickup at the pier and a welcome drink at check-in, and there were beach chairs with a beautiful view. I absolutely recommend Sita beach resort. It's within walking distance of the walking street, but far enough away to feel calm and quiet. I loved that. P.S. There's a cute cat at the hotel 😊💕

It's right by the beach, and near enough to walk to g street, but far enough away to be quiet when you've had enough. From there, if you can look past the wear and tear, you can see paradise. Still, I wouldn't stay again; it isn't worth the price. The basic rooms are overpriced, though being up at the top is handy for taxis. Our room was large and lovely, and the bed was comfy, but the patio view was terrible. The shower was awful, either with no pressure or water squeezed through just six holes in the head that weren't blocked with scale. Be warned, the cheaper rooms mean a huge climb up many steps after a steep hill. The buggy can't take you all the way. The resort badly needs tidying. Broken golf carts, rundown accommodation, and piles of rubbish made it feel unwelcoming.

The room was big and comfortable, the AC strong, and it had a safe. The garden was lovely and well kept, as was the pool. I loved the friendly, well-cared-for cats. I waited too long for the room to be ready, and the guy at reception was friendly but not very helpful. The breakfast coffee was bad, and the towels in the room were terribly old and need replacing.

Huge thanks to the Sita staff, who worked incredibly hard to make our stay great. You could see it in how clean everything was and how well the grounds were looked after. We were in a pool view room up the hill and didn't mind the walk; there's a golf buggy for anyone less able or lazy. Our room was refreshed every day with clean linen and towels. My one complaint is about some British and Dutch guests bringing their terrible sun lounger hogging 'etiquette' to Thailand. Otherwise, 10/10 recommend. Thanks again, Sita crew!
