The owner really cares about this place and is an awesome guy. On New Year’s Eve he put on a free buffet for everyone staying at the hostel, and he did free body paint for the full moon party too. I felt welcomed and safe here. Best hostel I stayed at in all of Thailand. Must visit, and I hope to see you again one day, friend. Love from London :)

Baan Kai Hostel has been one of my favorite hostels in Thailand so far. The owner is really supportive, speaks fluent English and German, and makes brilliant coffee as a barista. Had a great stay, thanks a lot!

I spent five days at Bankai Hostel and absolutely loved it. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the warm atmosphere made me feel looked after. The owner is super friendly and speaks fluent German, which gives the place a personal touch. Definitely worth visiting, a solid 10/10 for me.

I had such a good time at Baan Kai Hostel that I’ll book it again when I’m back in Koh Phangan. The social atmosphere was great, the beds were comfortable, and the hostel was spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. NUUM, the owner, arranged a taxi for the full moon party and made really good coffee. There’s a good restaurant next door, plus several convenience stores nearby. Highly recommend!

Great location, and the room had air conditioning and a lovely jungle view from the window. The staff were so accommodating and always had advice on where to go and what to do. They even helped me arrange a taxi to the pier when I checked out. This hostel is AMAZING. I’ll definitely be back!
