The Cabin Beach Resort

The room's view really is like a postcard. Sitting out on the balcony looking at the turquoise water is hard to put into words. The staff are warm and attentive too, and made us feel at home right from the start. Highly recommend it if you're looking to recharge in style.

Most of the staff were genuinely warm and helpful, which made the reception problems especially disappointing. During our stay, while my friend and I were asleep, reception gave our room key to another guest, a German tourist, who walked right into our room. That is a serious safety failure, not a minor inconvenience, and it should never happen at a hotel at any price. At checkout I asked the receptionist to double-check a disputed charge. She ignored that request and took the money directly from my hand before I could review the bill. That is no way to treat guests. The reception team was cold and dismissive throughout our stay, from the moment we arrived. The contrast with the excellent rest of the staff made it hard to overlook. The hotel has potential, but I can't recommend staying until management addresses the reception team's conduct and, especially, its key-handling procedures.

The service was really fast, and the staff were very friendly. We especially enjoyed the happy hour cocktails, which were honestly much better than many cocktails elsewhere outside happy hour. Alex deserves a special thanks for being so kind and helpful during our stay. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

It’s a peaceful, quiet spot away from the busier Zen Beach area, about a 40 min drive, and a great place to relax. The resort works with Cocohut, with free shuttles every hour to the lively Central Cocohut Village area. They run until around 8 PM; after that, rides cost 50 THB per person and are available until midnight. The rooms were clean and stylish, with AC, a comfortable bed, a TV, and a nice shower. There’s also a WhatsApp service from 9 AM to midnight for questions or requests. With the private beach and beautiful views, it’s a lovely mix of comfort, privacy, and easy access to island spots. Highly recommended.
