Orchard House Resort

We really liked where the accommodation is. The rooms are very simple and could probably use renovation, but we’d still come back. Nat was friendly and helpful, communicated well, gave us ideas for things to do on Koh Phangan, and even drove us to the pier when we left.

The location is great, with restaurants, one night market, cafes, the beach, and clubs nearby. The rooms are reasonably priced and do the job. The staff are lovely and can help with all sorts of things, including cheap taxis and bike rentals.

Nat was a fantastic host and paid close attention to us throughout our stay. He arranged our tickets for the full moon party and our ferry off the island, took care of our laundry partway through the stay, and even drove us to the port before we left. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you need a place in Pha Ngan for the full moon party.

The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we had on our 6-week trip around Thailand. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the fan was useful too. We didn’t see any bugs. The only downside was being near the road, so it could get noisy, though earplugs should make for a good night’s sleep. The host was super helpful. He brought us to a nearby scooter rental place with great service and quality, arranged our transfer to Koh Tao, and drove us to the pier in the morning for a tiny fee. Internet in the lobby topped 300 Mbit, which could work well for remote work. There’s also Wi-Fi in the room, a little slower but still fine for Zoom calls. Highly recommend.
