We were left waiting while three men spent about 45 minutes trying to fix our broken air conditioning and toilet that wouldn’t flush. This was in April, when it was 42 degrees. There were plenty of vacant rooms, but we weren’t offered another one until we said we wanted to leave and get a refund. The replacement room at least had working air conditioning. The photos are misleading: apparently the building changed ten years ago and the pictures were never updated. When we tried to explain the problem to the owner’s daughter by phone, she spoke sharply and hung up on us twice, saying we weren’t listening. She didn’t want to hear why we didn’t want to stay. Getting money back for the nights we didn’t use has been almost impossible, though I haven’t given up. If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible rooms and service, and I’d recommend literally anywhere else.

I had prepaid and received a confirmation, a receipt, and even a welcome message. Still, 15 minutes before check-in they emailed to say they had no record of my booking and no room for me. When I got there, they had no room, and arguing with them got me nowhere, so I left and found somewhere else rather than waste more time. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t stay. The place looked disgusting, and the “reception” was a laundry area where the woman there didn’t know a single word of English.

We left after one night and got back half the price of our five-night stay. I would have left either way. There were padlocks on the outside of the doors, no soap or toilet paper, and the place smelled like sewage. The sheet was dirty, with “mystery stains,” and reeked of sweat and excrement. I ended up sleeping on a towel on the floor. This is definitely not a luxury place. A total scam, in my view. I wouldn’t recommend it, just warn people away.

Don't stay here. The room was in awful shape and filthy, with spider webs everywhere and a dirty air conditioner. The sheet had holes and stains, and the area around the room was littered. Zero stars.

Some of the rooms are great, while others are bad. Prices get steep around the full moon.
