Phangan Barsay Hostel

It feels like a little community, not just somewhere to sleep, and I’d gladly stay again. The atmosphere is warm and open, so it’s easy to get comfortable and meet people. The staff are very friendly and understanding, and made us feel welcome right away. I especially liked the morning yoga, plus the occasional shared dinners and breathwork sessions. They’re a lovely way to connect with others. The location is also convenient for getting around the island.

The atmosphere here is lovely, with a lively, social crowd that’s mostly young travelers from different countries. It’s easy to meet people and have fun. The staff and reception team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They put on a social dinner once a week and treat the guests, which felt thoughtful and warm. There’s complimentary yoga at 9 AM each morning and breathwork at 9 PM every evening. It’s a fun place if you enjoy a youthful, party-oriented scene. Highly recommended!

There’s a chill common area that’s great for meeting other travelers, and a small kitchen guests can use. The location is handy, just down the street from the night market and town. The rooms and property were clean, and the staff were very nice. I’d stay again!

I was genuinely happy with my stay, including the room, cleanliness, atmosphere and even my roommates. The rooms were tidier and cleaner than I expected, with high hygiene standards and a fresh feel. It’s a very social place, and I never felt bored. The common areas and activities make it easy to connect, and I met great people from around the world. Staff were friendly, quick to respond and good at finding solutions whenever I needed something. I’d definitely return, whether traveling solo or looking for a place with a community feel.
