Phangan Island View Hotel

I asked for a simple bed change, from one double to two singles, and was charged an extra fee that didn’t seem justified. The whole stay felt tense and stressful, and I never felt respected as a guest. Visitors were not allowed, something that had not been clearly explained beforehand. The owner also came into my room without permission and began taking photos inside. That felt like a serious invasion of privacy and left me uncomfortable and unsafe. From the start, the property felt unwelcoming and managed in a way that made me feel watched, with extra charges seeming to be the focus. One of my most unpleasant hotel experiences. I strongly recommend avoiding it.

The bed request was basic, changing one double bed to two singles, but the elderly woman running the hotel charged extra without a good reason. It felt like another attempt to squeeze more money out of us. She also came into my room without permission and took photos of us inside. That was completely unacceptable and a huge invasion of privacy. Visitors were banned too, and nobody had clearly told us in advance. From the moment we arrived the place felt hostile. I felt neither respected nor safe, and the stay was stressful and disturbing. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Avoid it. There are better places where guests are treated decently.

The pool was fantastic, and the staff were so polite and attentive. A really cute hotel with everything we needed, plus clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The owner is a lovely lady. My new favorite in KP.

Please don’t stay here. The hotel itself is okay, but the staff seemed focused on getting extra money for things they hadn’t provided. There are better hotels around. Safe travels.
