Phuwadee Resort & Spa

We had a pleasant stay and found it very good value for the price. The rooms were comfortable and gave us access to the beach. This part of the island has incredible beaches, but it’s a bit removed from the rest of the action. If you’re after sun and sea, it’s perfect.

The beach is beautiful, probably the island’s best, and right on the resort’s doorstep. We stayed four nights over New Year’s and had a great time. The rooms are spacious, with good air conditioning and a mini fridge, and the resort is well kept. Staff are friendly and hardworking. There’s a 7 11, local restaurants, and plenty of shops just a short walk away, even in this small area. Couldn’t fault our stay and would happily return.

I spent 10 days staying around Koh Phangan, and this area definitely has the best beaches. The resort has recently reopened and was great, so I’d ignore the bad reviews. It’s right on a beautiful beach, with spacious bungalows and everything you need. Evenings here are quiet, though there are enough restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. It’s a great value choice for families or couples looking for a few relaxed beach days. If you’re traveling with friends, the quiet location might not be the best fit.

I spent five nights at Phuwadee and really enjoyed it. The bungalow was spacious, had everything I needed, and sat right by the beach. The village was just a short walk away, too. If you want Koh Phangan’s most beautiful beach without staying at a luxury resort, this is a great option. I had no complaints. Please ignore the older reviews.
