The view was the only good thing. Everything else was extremely disappointing. Our balcony door was completely broken and wouldn't close. The entrance door had several gaps, so insects and animals could get in, and we caught several cockroaches in the room. The bathroom was run-down compared with the rest of the room, smelled strongly from the drain, and the tap water was visibly brown. We know not to drink tap water in Thailand, but brown water for showering and brushing our teeth is unacceptable. Getting to the hotel meant climbing more than 150 stairs with heavy luggage. This wasn't clearly stated in the description, and no help was offered. The hotel was also very hard to find, which wasn't transparently explained. Paying by card came with an extra 3% fee. The worst part was how the staff and owners responded when we calmly raised these issues. They insulted us, shouted, and treated us with extreme disrespect. They explicitly told us to leave immediately without a refund, and this behavior is documented on video. We booked four nights but left after two because the situation was unacceptable. We still haven't received any refund.

The resort was really quiet and relaxed, and the beach is close by and nice for chilling. It's not crowded since you need to rent a scooter or take an expensive taxi to get here. Really nice hotel!

The uphill walk to Plan Thansadet Resort takes a little effort, but the quiet setting makes it worthwhile. I stayed in a sea view room with a really comfortable bed, and waking up to the ocean and nature around me was lovely. The room’s atmosphere fit right into the surroundings. I also enjoyed doing yoga on the balcony and at the beach.

We felt right at home in the bungalow, with its sea view and plenty of privacy. It was lovely to end the day in the hammock, and we ate at the restaurant every day because the food was tasty and varied. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded. The water gets less clear when the sea is rough, but it’s still one of our dream places. We’d happily recommend it.

We spent two weeks here, splitting our stay between two bungalows, and had a fantastic time. The setting feels special, right in nature with an amazing view. Getting in means finding the somewhat hidden entrance at the side of the bay and passing over or under two big rocks. The climb up to the bungalows and restaurant is steep, though worth it. The restaurant serves varied food that was all really good, at very fair prices.
