The price is really attractive, and the hotel service was a plus. They cleaned the room, brought bottled water, and changed the sheets and towels. There's a lovely big terrace outside the room where you can relax. The room itself was large and clean, with a comfortable bed, bright walls, and a TV. There was also a shelf, fridge, hangers, and coffee and tea. The bathroom was well kept, with hot and cold water, and the air conditioning worked well.

Samed Hotel (Samed Hotel) is a budget-friendly 2-star place on Ko Samet, with clean modern rooms and the basics for a comfortable stay. It's about 400 meters from Sai Kaew Beach and close to the island's main pier. Local food spots, a 7-Eleven, and tour operators are all within walking distance. Rooms have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, fridges, and private bathrooms. Some also have balconies with city views. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout, family rooms, and non-smoking rooms. You can rent a motorbike there, and the staff can help arrange snorkeling or fishing trips. I was happy with my stay in a double room with a sofa bed. The room was very big and super clean, with no bugs even though I couldn't shut the window shutters all the way. I hadn't been given a towel, but they brought one quickly when I asked. No view from my window, which was fine since I didn't need one. It was noisy at first because someone outside kept laughing, but things got very quiet after about 10:30 pm. The shower worked okay, and there were two soaps, one new toilet paper roll, three bottles of water, if I remember right, a fridge, and working air conditioning. The bed was big. I sort of missed having shampoo, though maybe I just didn't notice it. The guest house was very nice, and the staff were friendly. It's close to the main beach, though everything is nearby on such a small island. The main beach was too crowded for me, so I'm not sure I'd stay near it next time. Cleanliness was the biggest plus, and I'd definitely recommend the guest house.
