Baan Hinlad Waterfall - Adults Only

The room's shutter door opens straight onto the garden, and sitting there in the lush trees was my favorite part. It's a dreamy, quiet place to relax away from busy, noisy areas, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We stayed just one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The beach and shops are about a 35 minute walk away, but you can borrow bikes anytime. A 7-eleven is a 10 minute ride away, which was handy. If you're thinking of booking, honestly, go for it.

A quiet, lovely place with a nice kitchen and backyard. The owner was so welcoming, open, and helpful that we felt at home right away. Nicest, comfiest hostel we've stayed in since the trip began.

The listing said the rooms had air conditioning, but none of them did. Maybe that was Agoda's fault. The owner didn't help sort it out and just took the money even though I didn't stay. I said I was checking out right after checking in and got no reply at all. He also refused Agoda's refund request. I was left out of luck.

The patio was a great place to unwind with its lovely view of the jungle greenery, and the shared areas and rooms were all very clean. Baan Hinlad Home and Hostel is a quiet, laid back spot on Koh Samui, away from the busier parts of the island. Hin Lat waterfall trailhead is only a 1 minute walk away, and Lipa Noi beach, good for sunset watching, is 2 kilometres away. There are plenty of free bicycles, and we explored the area on them. Just be ready for the hills, since you may end up walking your bike up and down some slopes. Our host, Anjar, was super friendly and attentive to what we needed. I highly recommend staying here.
