Baan Sawan Samui Resort

The location made exploring easy. You can rent a scooter just around the corner at Mekong Restaurant, and the hotel sits pretty much in the middle of the island. The staff were lovely and ready to help, and the pools were clean and just right. I liked the privacy in the rooms, along with the views of the pool and sky. They’re nicely designed and decorated, too. Breakfast was delicious, one of the best I had in Thailand. Along with the buffet, you can choose from a menu and have dishes brought over freshly made. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owners, Philippe and his wife Valerie, made our family feel like part of their extended family. They were always around, kind, attentive, and thoughtful about every detail. Their generosity and warmth gave us a real sense of connection, and that’s what we’ll remember most. The hotel has a peaceful, relaxed feel, with greenery and little spots to sit and enjoy the grounds together. Our room was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of space, and personal touches in the decor. It worked really well for our family, and we could unwind there after long days at the beach. We also loved the food. Every meal, from breakfast through dinner, was fresh, full of flavor, and satisfying. Even the kids looked forward to eating. It was a wonderful family stay at this charming 3-star hotel in Koh Samui, and we left with lovely memories and hope to come back.

Mornings here felt so peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, especially the delicious pancake. Highly recommend!
