We stayed in a spacious Sea View Suite with stunning views. The hotel is right in the heart of Chaweng, yet it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it a great romantic getaway for couples. The beach was pristine and very clean, with everything we needed. The pools were fantastic and well maintained. Service was exceptional throughout. When a toilet got clogged, maintenance fixed it immediately, and housekeeping cleaned our room every day. Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. The staff were incredible and clearly focused on service. A real gem, highly recommended and definitely worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the rest was great. There’s a big pool area with enough sunbeds, friendly staff, and good breakfast and drinks. Best of all, the hotel is right on the beach, with more sunbeds there too. It’s also next to the main street, so restaurants, bars, and shops are all a short walk away.

The grounds are lovely, and the bar and kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself felt basic for AUD $300 a night, especially over a 7-night stay. There were only 7 coat hangers and nowhere else for clothes; I was told to use the rack above the toilet. The cable TV had channels that didn’t work, and the TVs wouldn’t connect to my own streaming accounts. When I had a cold during the last 3 days and asked for some tea around 8pm, the kitchen couldn’t provide any. Average at best.

It’s a smaller hotel, so we could always find a sunbed. The bed was great if you like a firmer one, and breakfast had lots of tasty options. Service was fantastic, and the location was great too. Would absolutely recommend it.

Breakfast was so good, and the staff were thoughtful and incredibly kind. They even surprised me with a lovely room gift for my birthday. The rooms are big and nice, the pools are beautiful, and I enjoyed every moment at La Vida hotel. Big recommendation!
