PawPaw Resort

I’m still here for another week, and it’s been brilliant from the start. The pool is great and the service has been lovely. A few days ago I mentioned to the chef that I love fresh fish, and she offered to cook some for my Saturday evening. I came tonight to find she’d gone to the market herself and made me an amazing meal. I can’t thank her enough. Here’s to another week, and thanks again!

It’s a quiet spot just a few metres from the beach, and the whole place looks lovely once the lights come on in the evening. There’s a 7-Eleven five minutes away on foot. You can request room service every day, and scooter rental at reception is very reasonably priced.

I stayed for a month and wish I could have stayed longer. I’ve lived in Thailand for three years, mostly in different places on Samui, and this is a lovely part of the island. I’d definitely come back next time. It’s a peaceful resort surrounded by nature, where you can really disconnect, but still close enough to go out when you want. The on-site restaurant was good and convenient, and there’s a cool beach bar right opposite. The pool area was amazing, with plenty of loungers. The resort is well looked after, and the staff were great and attentive. The room was beautiful, with a big comfortable bed that gave me a great night’s sleep. Small touches helped too, like refillable bottled water and a message telling me when room cleaning was scheduled. Everything felt easy. Highly recommend staying here. The room was clean, and the beach is long and wide, so there’s plenty of space. Since you’re practically right on the beach, each room could use a brush. The food was good and the pool was great. It’s not high-end, but the price for what you get is very good.
