I’d already paid for three nights, including two in a private room, and wanted to stay longer because the place suited me. They only had dorm beds left, so I told them I’d take one for a fourth night if I could sleep there. At 422 PM they messaged to say the dorm was full, leaving me to find somewhere else. I was riding my scooter and replied about 30 minutes later that I’d keep the dorm bed, but they said it was no longer an option. I had to scramble for accommodation and ended up without a bed there. They could have told me they were nearly full and asked me to commit to the fourth night, which I would have done. Instead, they sold my bed. Very poor customer service after I’d already spent money there.

A simple, clean private room with a good shower. It could use a little fridge for medicine and water. The pool was nice, and the bar lounge was friendly, with free coffee. Breakfast was cheap and simple. A good fit for backpackers.

The location worked really well, especially being next to the port for the full moon party. There’s a pool, pool table, table tennis, plus good, cheap food and drinks. It feels like there’s room for the hostel to be more social, and a few organized events would be great. The beds and pillows weren’t the best, and the soundproofing could be better, so I’d say it suits a short stay. Still, a really great hostel with fantastic facilities.
