We had a spacious, clean apartment, and the whole property was well kept. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and renting a scooter right there was simple and convenient. Sunset was lovely, with a fantastic view over the jungle and nature. Getting to the room involves a lot of stairs, including several steep flights, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with a disability or physical limitation that makes stairs difficult. The town-to-property route is uphill but not steep; from the entrance, a much steeper road leads to reception, which we always rode up on the scooter. More stair levels lead from there to the apartment. As a young couple, we had no problem, but it’s something to consider. Don’t count on much of a sea view, either. You can see the sea and boats far away. The kitchen has no cooking equipment such as hotplates or an oven.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is central, the staff are friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable with good AC. There was a damp smell in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The view gets a 10/10 from me, and the rooms matched the photos: spacious, clean, comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The bed, though, was rock hard. After three nights I left in intense pain and barely slept on the last one. If you don’t like a very firm mattress, it could be a serious problem. I’d rate the bed 0/10. Sairee Beach is about a 20-minute walk away, but the uphill route can be tough, especially at night, so I’d suggest renting a bike.

The staff were amazing and so helpful, and the room had a beautiful view. We fell for Tofu, the resident cat, and looked forward to seeing her every day. We’ll miss you, Tofu!

I like peace and quiet, so being away from the busy beach scene suited me. It’s a bit of a walk to get to that area, and there are stairs. The room was nice, with a great shower and a cute little balcony for evenings.
