Majestic Sea View Resort

You get sea and mountain views from these affordable bungalows, and they’re really good value for Ko Tao. The staff were very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Yao and Yupa.

The balcony was the best part, really big, with a lovely ocean view. The room was nice and not small, and the AC was very good. It’s a remote place, but it was the only cheap option left in high season, so I recommend it. It took me a while to find at first, though the road was fine once I knew the area. They need to put up signs!

The bungalow was great for our four-night stay, with loads of space and a big balcony where we loved playing cards in the evenings. The owner was extremely helpful, arranged a taxi for checkout, and gave us good recommendations for a bike rental and a spa. We had nothing but a great experience, so don’t be put off by the reviews. There was even a friendly neighbourhood cat! One thing to know: search Sairee View Resort on Google Maps, since Majestic Sea View is next door.

The room was nice and spacious, but the water stopped working at night and was still out the next morning, so we couldn’t shower, flush, or wash our hands. The AC also quit three times, and someone had to come over each time to get it running again. The apartments are far from everything, so you need a motorbike, and the road is quite steep. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
