Pinnacle Koh Tao Resort

The beach and its bar were a real highlight, and I had a great time once I settled into the island's slower pace. My room was lovely, with a fantastic view, and the staff were kind, though their approach felt a little relaxed. There are plenty of hills and stairs around the resort, so it may be difficult if walking is a problem.

The quiet here was worth the steep climbs and sore legs we had for the first couple of days. The road up from the center is very steep, so confident motorbike handling matters, and there's plenty of climbing within the resort too. In return, our spacious, clean room had a gorgeous sunset view from the bed, with stars at night and nature sounds during the day. The restaurant's setting is lovely. Breakfast was fine, with a limited selection, though some dishes changed each day. Lunch and dinner choices were sparse and fairly expensive. For a motorbike, the rental shops are a five-minute walk downhill, so you can avoid the delivery fee by arranging it yourself.

We had a really good time here. The restaurant team, including graysorn aunty and Ms. Eye, looked after us and other diners so well, always checking if we needed anything else. Reception Ying was caring and gave us clear information. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the staff were all very friendly. The snorkeling was amazing compared with other beaches.

The pool terrace faces the sunset, so it's a lovely spot at that time of day. We also really liked the breakfast and the sweet kitchen staff. It was my first stay at Pinnacle, though I always enjoy coming back to Koh Tao, and the location is handy for good beaches and snorkeling spots. One small suggestion: add an elevator to the pool 😂.
