Crystal Hotel Krabi

There’s no breakfast, and the attractions are a long way off. The room looked dated but was clean, with housekeeping every day. A 7/11 nearby is handy for snacks or food.

There was no hot water kettle in the room, and breakfast wasn’t available. The bed was VERY uncomfortable.

The staff were super friendly, and the hotel was fine for one night. It costs 600bath per night, with a big sign out front on the street. They also asked for a 100bath deposit for the old key in case you lose it, which I found very odd. The whole place, including the bathroom, was very clean, though the rooms felt dated. There was undercover parking, and the location worked for us since we usually walk or ride. We asked for a quiet room at the back, away from the main road, but the AC was very noisy. At least it helped cover the sound of ambulances. The TV was very old and didn’t work, and the WiFi kept dropping out.

The lobby was nice, and the staff were pleasant, but they spoke almost no English. I had to use a translation app just to check in. The sink was clogged, and the rooms, while big, smelled bad and felt outdated. The AC was loud, too. There were no duvet covers. The blankets were just tucked between two bedsheets, something I’ve never seen in a hotel or anywhere else.
