Rayavadee Hotel

We had a stay at Rayavadee that we’ll remember for a long time. The natural setting, privacy, luxury, and heartfelt service all came together beautifully. The wildlife, including monkeys, and tropical landscape blended into the resort, while the pool was lovely and relaxing. There’s another pool on the way, and the place seems to keep evolving thoughtfully. The facilities also include a 24-hour gym and a dedicated balance bar for movement, stretching, or dance practice, so active guests have options alongside relaxation. Dining was excellent throughout, with standout restaurants and warm, attentive staff. Cindy and Issy deserve special thanks for their kindness, thoughtful arrangements, and hospitality. Getting there by boat was scenic and effortless, and immediately made the stay feel luxurious. Three stunning beaches are easy to reach, each with its own atmosphere and views, from limestone cliffs to soft sand and hidden coves, plus activities close by. We stayed in a Deluxe Terrace Villa, and the space was incredible. Villa 319 was the highlight, private, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. It felt like the main event, and set the tone for an immersive, exclusive-feeling stay.

Everything at Rayawadee felt thoughtfully arranged around our happiness, from pickup to drop-off. The transfer from our other hotel and Ao Nang was smooth and stress-free, and check-in felt welcoming. The rooms, pool, and gardens were all well maintained. Staff were friendly, professional, and exceptional, and the restaurant food was great. Breakfast stood out, with a wide buffet and plenty of hot options. We were even able to stay at the resort for a few hours after checking out and use the facilities. We hope to come back.

We spent four nights at Rayavadee, and the public beach and shared space were the one real downside. At times they felt disruptive while we were relaxing by the hotel pool. The hotel is expensive, though it does offer luxury, calm, and spectacular surroundings. Our two-story Pavilion was a jungle retreat between dramatic limestone cliffs and three pristine beaches, with thoughtful staff throughout. The private coach and boat transfer were seamless and felt exclusive, a lovely start to the trip. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and efficiently and given refreshing fresh coconut water. The circular design of our deluxe pavilion worked beautifully, making both the downstairs lounge and upstairs bedroom feel bright, airy, and spacious. It felt like a private two-story treehouse among the coconut groves. Little touches included fresh lemongrass scent in the room and surprisingly strong Wi-Fi. We heard hornbills in the morning and sometimes saw a monkey pass the terrace, reminders of the protected surroundings. Dining matched the setting, and while all the restaurants were exceptional, nothing compared with Grotto. It was breathtaking, with fantastic service. There are complimentary water sports, fitness, and relaxation activities, but we only tried kayaking and mostly spent our time relaxing at the beach.

The main pool is breathtaking, with views of cliffs and sea. The Grotto is iconic and beautiful, though it can get lively and noisy when families with children are around. Rayavadee Krabi is a true five-star resort, and the staff are its highlight: attentive, friendly, and proactive, from keeping rooms spotless to offering off-menu breakfast dishes. Set across 50 rai and reachable only by boat, the resort links three beautiful beaches and has a boat-free area for swimming and sunbathing. That gives it a special sense of privacy and tranquility. Rooms and private tours come at a premium, but the luxury and peaceful feel make it worth every baht.
